My team recently attended an Emotional Intelligence and DISC Profiling course delivered to our small charity team, and I cannot recommend Mia highly enough. From the outset, she created an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that encouraged everyone to participate and reflect on their own behaviours and communication styles. The content was expertly tailored to our team, making the principles of emotional intelligence both accessible and relevant to the challenges we face in the charity sector. The DISC profiling element was particularly insightful. Mia explained the different personality styles in a clear and practical way, helping each team member understand not only their own preferences and strengths, but also how to communicate more effectively with colleagues, volunteers, stakeholders, and service users. The discussions and exercises were thought-provoking, interactive, and immediately applicable to our day-to-day work. What stood out most was Mia’s ability to balance professionalism with warmth and enthusiasm. She is very knowledgeable, approachable, and skilled at drawing out contributions from everyone in the room. Her facilitation style ensured that every participant felt valued and involved, regardless of previous experience with the subject matter. As a result of the training, our team has gained a stronger understanding of ourselves and each other, leading to more effective communication, greater empathy, and improved collaboration. The practical tools and insights we took away will continue to benefit both our staff and the communities we serve. A brilliant course delivered by an exceptional trainer. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mia to any organisation looking to develop stronger, more emotionally intelligent teams.

Mia ran a really interesting Emotional Intelligence training session for our team. Great learning that also stimulated incredibly useful internal discussion to help everyone. There were real lightbulb moments about: 💡understanding and managing our own and others' emotions and triggers 💡checking in with colleagues about why you and they feel a certain way about something 💡understanding that we can all use a familiar term to describe an emotion, yet 'feel it' very differently 💡adapting work scenarios to suit everyone as best as possible, to avoid feeling uncomfortable/stressed with particular people or activities I would highly recommend getting in touch with Mia about a session for your workplace - so useful!

Thanks so much for yesterday, it was really good. I’ve put the setting boundaries into practice already this morning with one of our councillors who has routinely ignored two of my team members until I intervened. And another one’s going to get it before the end of the week about coming in on the afternoon of a meeting and expecting we can provide papers at the last minute.

Mia facilitated an Assertiveness course for the charity I work at, WayfinderWoman. She had fantastic communication throughout the run up to the course, and the course material was really well put together. Mia had great feedback from the course on her training style, and even when presented with unexpected challenges, she always found a way to work around it, make the participants feel safe and valued and create the best possible outcomes for them. I loved working with Mia and hope to continue the working relationship in the future.

"I found it really helpful for us to think about different personality/communication styles, what works and doesn't work with different people. Also, the training was absolutely spectacular, really enjoyed it. Perhaps this was improved by the quality of the group, but I found it to be really interactive, I really appreciated that you let us speak to each other during the training; sharing our reflections and ideas. Thank you so much.

" I found the session extremely helpful. I think the point made about people needing to be heard but not necessarily their problem solved or to be advised was one I have noted to remind myself. Many thanks Mia"

From "I've realised that I've become a doormat! Or at least maybe I have always been one and have now realised this. Can you help?" to "Just wanted to say thank you! I've just arrived in Buenos Aires" Life long dream...
