Practical, human, no- nonsense approach

About me

I'm naturally curious about people and what sits beneath workplace challenges.

On the surface, organisations often ask me to help with conflict, difficult conversations or communication.

But those issues are rarely the real problem.

More often, they're symptoms of something deeper—unclear expectations, different communication styles, lack of confidence, assumptions, or conversations that have been avoided for far too long.

That's why my work isn't just about teaching communication skills.

It's about helping people understand themselves, each other and the conversations that really matter.

One thing I've learned over the years is this:

Avoiding a difficult conversation rarely makes it disappear.

It usually makes it bigger.

I've seen small misunderstandings turn into grievances, high-performing employees quietly leave because they no longer feel heard, and managers lose confidence simply because they weren't given the tools or support they needed.

That's why I believe in addressing issues early, creating psychologically safe environments where people can think, reflect and practise new skills before problems escalate.

My approach

I don't believe lasting change comes from sitting through another online module or a one-off workshop.

Confidence develops over time.

That's why many of my programmes combine practical tools, discussion, reflection and real workplace situations, giving people the opportunity to learn, apply, revisit and grow.

Because learning isn't an event.

It's a process.

So

If you're looking for someone to simply deliver a training session, there are plenty of people who can do that.

If you're looking for someone to help your people grow in confidence, strengthen workplace relationships and create lasting change, I'd love to hear about the challenges you're facing.
