Who do I work with?

I work with managers and teams who are avoiding conversations they know they need to have.

Most people don’t avoid these conversations because they don’t care, they avoid them because they don’t know how to handle them without making things worse.

So instead, they:

  • Put it off

  • Work around the person

  • Get frustrated in meetings

  • Or talk about the issue with everyone except the one person who needs to hear it

And in the meantime, the problem doesn’t stay the same, it grows.

As a manager, that comes at a cost.
Performance drops, tension builds, and what could have been a straightforward conversation turns into something much bigger and harder to manage.

That includes:

  • Structuring what you want to say

  • Managing emotional or defensive reactions

  • Handling situations where someone is upset, resistant, or shutting down

Because for many of the people I work with, it’s not the conversation itself—it’s the reaction they’re worried about.
