Coaching is:

“What’s your potential” minus “What are your limitations”

What is
coaching?

Personal development coaching will help you to see what’s possible but also what is stopping you to get it.

The beauty of coaching is in listening and hearing what is not being said and excellent, laser focused questioning.

Be your own life coach

Are you ready for coaching?

  • Are you stuck and unable to move on with the achievement of your life goal?

  • Do you feel like you need a “buddy”, someone who won’t tell you what to do? but who will be there to cheer you on and listen to your ideas?

  • Do you feel like sharing your goal with someone who will help you to work harder at achieving it?

 What coaching isn’t

  • Coaching isn’t counselling – even though we might explore limiting beliefs from the past, we don’t resolve trauma or mental health issues.

  • Coaching isn’t mentoring – so don’t expect sessions filled with advice (unless previously agreed).

  • Coaching isn’t consultancy – I won’t share my expertise with you at our coaching sessions.

 Why work with a coach?

  • You can’t put a price on the benefit of having someone independent to bounce ideas off. Coaches have great listening skills and non-judgmental nature. So no matter how strange your ideas might feel, a professional coach will explore them with you and help you understand where they might take you.

  • Accountability and responsibility remain with you. Which is one of the unique characteristics of coaching. The immense sense of achievement you gain from the process derives from your own hard work. Coaching is a learning process, not a box-ticking exercise (you can do this yourself without spending money on a coach!)

I’m based in Eastbourne, East Sussex. For in person personal development coaching ideally you’ll be based in Sussex where I also offer walking coaching sessions.

  • The initial chat is for both of us to find out if we can trust each other and if personal development coaching is what you need. It is a FREE session. There is no reason for me to charge you for this session if I can’t help or we’re not the ‘right fit’. If this happens I can always recommend someone who might be a better fit. What is there to lose?

Is coaching
for you?

Yes, if:

  • You’re ready to step out of your comfort zone.

  • You’re willing to learn.

  • You’re comfortable with being challenged.

  • You’re open to exploring options you haven’t considered before.

No, if:

  • You’re expecting instant results.

  • You need to sort out past trauma.

  • You’re struggling with unresolved mental health issues.

What can I offer?

Discovery

We start with a discovery call to find out if coaching is right for you. And also to check if we can work together effectively. I rarely find that I can’t work with a client. But if we’re not a good match, I can always signpost you to another coach. This is a FREE 30 minute session.

Commitment

The minimum number of sessions I recommend is seven.

- This includes an opening 90-minute session,

- 5 x 50-minute sessions,

- plus a 60-minute review at the end.

Follow up

Additional sessions are available if required.

Typical coaching program will cost you from £670 over three months depending on number of sessions.

Are you based in Sussex? Do you enjoy outdoor? I also offer walking coaching sessions to change the scenery and enhance creativity.

“I have a lot of respect for Mia as a coach, she is capable, curious and encouraging. Mia always comes to the sessions prepared and is very professional. ”
